Some say I'm a world traveler. Well, I haven’t attempted river rafting in the Philippines, but I did ride a camel around Giza! And I’ve eaten my fair share of perogis, strudels and dim sum. Recently my hubby and I together with our youngest son and his wife celebrated our anniversaries in France. Being our second visit, we stayed this time outside of Paris near a little village called Bailly-Romainvilliers. My recently learned French came in handy a couple of times: bonjour, au revoir. And we experienced a lifelong dream of breaking hot, fresh-out-of-the-oven bread with the locals. Okay, maybe our neighbors were Heinz 57, considering Parc Disney was only a snowball-throw away, where the Magic Kingdom is a major attraction for all of Europe, even in frigid weather. None the less, we called this little village home for a week and each morning we set out to taste the essence of France. We began our journey in the nearby district of Champagne, and sipped the genuine bubbly--ooh la la! Another day we visited Sleeping Beauty's castle. No one was home, of course; probably catching a few winks in the South of France where it was warm! Speaking of castles, did you know that the Louvre was built on top of an ancient castle? And finally we reached the height of our trip, aka, the second level of the Tour Eiffel. Breathtaking! Not only the view, but the temperature dropped and our oohs and ahs froze in midair. You might think this a crazy way to introduce a new un sac ´ main, but you gotta do what you gotta do for your friends! So, here I am in Paris, atop the largest antenna in the world, presenting to you--drum roll, please--PARIS! Its basic hues of black, grey and taupe, sprinkled with a touch of fabric glitz, are perfect with whatever you're wearing, no matter where you travel, be it Europe or the grocery store. And it comes in all your favorite styles, like Megan, Carol, and Pauline. See your JenzBagz Independent Consultant for details. Merci beaucoup! |
